When a person begins to entrust his life to God, then He makes the impossible possible. Just such an incredible event happened in one of the correctional institutions of Ukraine.

Oleg Chupryna is responsible for the prison service in the Odesa region. He has been serving as a prisoner for about 20 years. Currently, he conducts ministry at Pokrovsky Correctional Center No. 79. Many women gather to listen to God’s word and pray. There is a woman among them, Julia, who regularly attends the service and she has a child – a little boy who lives with his father.
Oleg, as a minister of the church, knew that this year the son of this prisoner was supposed to go to the first grade and Yulia really wanted to be present at the school holiday. Thanks to his appeal to the management of the Center and with the assistance of the management of the service of execution of criminal punishments, the prisoner was granted leave for 14 days in order not to miss such an important day in the life of his son.

According to Yulia, she greatly appreciates such trust from the management of the Correctional Center. She does not even think about doing something illegal. Instead, the woman, along with her son and husband, attended a church service outside the Institution. They liked it so much that the boy even decided to go to Sunday school. After her vacation, Julia will return to continue serving her sentence.

Previously, no one received vacations at Pokrovsky Correctional Center No. 79.
Church officials are very glad that the management of the institution went to a meeting in such a case. Because the role of the employees of the criminal justice system is very important in the rehabilitation of convicts and their path to change.
