“There is a concept of subculture in Ukrainian prisons. To our pleasant surprise, a prisoner from the “elite caste” signed up for the “Listen to Believe” course. We got to know him, and later became friends. During the program, the man decided to change his life. He successfully completed the course and received a certificate. After the program, he repented and started inviting other prisoners from his “caste” to the course.

Of course, prisoners from the “elite prison caste” are a little more difficult, because their behavior is more frivolous. But despite this, they continue to attend the program.

There is also a rule in the prison that prisoners from different “castes” do not communicate with each other, but during the program this stable rule breaks a little. Prisoners from the “special elite” caste slowly begin to sit at the table with others.
We are happy to see how, thanks to the program, prisoners of various categories meet Jesus and their lives change.”
