On February 16, an international conference on Criminal Justice “Probation – a new impetus for reform” was held in Kyiv

Probation is a kind of chance to correct the offender’s behavior without imprisonment. An example of probation can be community service.

The conference was started by the Minister of Justice Denys Malyuska, joking that the alternative name of the conference is “Sit down, but not everyone.”
Also speakers of the event were Oksana Vysotska, Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Oleg Yanchuk, Director of the State Institution “Probation Center” and others.
