Kherson and Kharkiv regions. Military operations are still taking place in these areas, the front line is 30 km away from the villages we visited. In settlements, there is no electricity, heating, water supply, shops… But life has not stopped here.
In the Kherson region, we visited three villages: Davydiv Brid, Bruskinske and Ishchenko. The total number of people who received help in these villages is 400 people.
In the queue for humanitarian aid, we met pensioners, children, teachers, doctors, farmers, and the school director.
All these people had a wonderful life, plans, but the war took everything from them – their former life, property, loved ones.
Before the trip, we collected information about how many people live in each village, created preliminary lists and provided assistance based on them. Power banks were given to teachers and children, peasants – people who do not have stoves in their houses, gas burners – those who have nothing to cook food on.
