On June 5, a new tradition was born in Kyiv to start each new month with a prayer at the State Service for the Execution of Criminal Punishments.
On the initiative of the director of the Christian Prison Mission in Ukraine, Vyacheslav Kogut, and with the support of the service, the employees were able to start the day with a cup of coffee, goodies and spiritual communication. After reading a chapter of the Gospel from Luke, those present shared their thoughts and prayed for the victory and prosperity of Ukraine, for the wounded and missing soldiers. The prayer ended with a National minute of silence. There were about 30 employees at the event.
Thank you for the support of the Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olena Vysotska and the Deputy Head of the Department Natalia Rybalka.
