From March 11 to 13, our volunteers and church ministers visited the field military hospital in the city of Barvinkovo, Kharkiv region, and also held meetings with the military in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, and Druzhkivka.

A team of chaplains left Kyiv with two loaded beads and an ambulance. We handed over medical equipment, medicines and clothes for the wounded to the hospital. It was a time when the chaplains prayed for the military, talked a lot and wished the patients a happy Easter. Services were held in all wards separately, and it was also possible to hold a general service.

“We are not visiting this hospital for the first time. Now a team of like-minded people and church ministers is gathering, who are ready to help the wounded on an ongoing basis. We plan to continue to serve the patients of this hospital, as well as take out the wounded from the battlefield,” says the director of the charity organization “Support for Ukraine”.

During these days, we met almost every group of wounded who were brought from the battlefield, and each group was also escorted to the front line. All this with prayer, of course. You could see how people’s faces were changing. After the prayer, the boys were very inspired to continue serving. They thanked for supporting them and paying attention to their mental problems.

The chaplains also met and congratulated the military in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, and Druzhkivka with Easter. Sweets, gifts and necessary humanitarian aid were brought for them.

This person constantly worries that the wounded have everything they need – from a toothbrush to medical and spiritual support.
