Since February 24, 2022, hundreds of civilians were evacuated from the Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions thanks to the “Support for Ukraine” organization.
Volunteers took out women with children, people with disabilities, teenagers accompanied by adults and elderly people. Someone was taken to the border with Poland, someone to the western regions of Ukraine, and someone left for safer cities in the center of the country. Now the evacuation is taking place from the Kherson region.
